To begin with, you have to execute the installer and it will automatically open an assistant that will guide you through the process. Click on “Next” (1) to proceed and “Cancel” (2) to abort.

Then, a window will pop-up that will show you the content of the License Agreement of JDownloader (1). If you agree with the text, click on “I Agree” (3). In case you want to go back to previous steps in the assistant, click on “Back” (2).

Once you get to this point, you have to select the components of JDownloader that you want to install (1). However, in many cases, these options are selected by default. Another point to take into account is the space required by the software to be installed in the hard drive (2). Once you have checked the data, click on “Next” (3) to continue.

Here, you will have the possibility to specify the location where JDownloader will be installed in your PC, the default one is usually “Program Files” (1). In case you want to change it, click on “Browse…” (2) and you will be able to explore your directories to select the most convenient one for you. To move on, click on “Next” (3).

To be able to run, JDownloader requires the JAVA platform. Therefore, the assistant will give you the possibility to install it in this step (1). If you want to go back to previous instances of this process, click on “Back” (2).

In this way, the Installation of JAVA will start automatically and will finish when the progress bar is complete.

Once JAVA is installed in your computer, you will be directed back to the JDownloader assistant. Then, click on “Next” (1) to continue.

When you get to this screen, JDownloader will have been correctly installed in your computer. From here, you will have the possibility to activate the option for the application to run once the assistant is finished (1). Click on “Finish” (2) to complete the process.
